iXtreamer Full HD Hybrid Media Player, 802.11n USB Antenna and iPod/iPad dockWe all enjoy our media and gadgets and hate to pay for it a fortune. The iXtreamer is a hybrid media player and is capable of displaying your movie collection with full movie information and posters generated from various sources on the internet. The Movie Jukebox, unlinke many other devices, is built inside the device (no need to run it from PC software). The iXtreamer can play and stream any HD MKV or BluRay image file stored on any PC, Laptop, MAc or NAS in your house to your HDTV via wired or wireless networks. Also, the iXtreamer can stream directly from the internet, to your TV. The iXtreamer supports the latest codec of HD playback including MKV header Compression, DTS MA and Dolby TrueHD with 7.1 channels passthrough. It means for you that the sound and video is simpy amazing! It’s possibilties are endless: supporting live internetradio streams, play Youtube in HD, connect to shared networks via NFS protocol, TVersty & TwonkyMedia Compatbility, eTRAYz Optimization, Easy DDnS Support and UPnP Web Getway. The iXtreamer can connect to both MAC or PC from which you can copy or add your files via your local network. Videos, music or photos stored on your iPhone, iPad or iPod can be player right on your TV by the iXtreamer. All you have to do is dock the device. You can also control your device by simply opening safari on your iPhone and typing in the device IP adress. Inside the body you can also install any 3.5: Sata hard disc drive with up to 3TB and you can expand the attached storage via the two USB 2.0 ports on its back to a maximum of 5TB. On today’s iBOOD we’ve also added the optional 802.11n USB Antenna, allowing you to wirelessly connect to your network with up to 300Kbps speed. This may not be enough for wireless streaming, it will be more than enough for most DivX and Avi files. By the end of the day its all about “user experience” and “fun”. Something we at iBOOD personally expect from any ‘toy’ with an AC adapter. We found out that if you do insist to pay much more, not necessarily you wil get much more. Sometime to the contrary. got mine today, works fine can play off usb stick, no issues. portable, can take to friends house or use in caravan etc better for me than a streaming device. Only prob they sent wrong way round adapter……. 3pin UK to 2pin US, needs 2pin US to 3pin UK, will try for a replacement but otherwise have to resource locally. |
